My wife and I decided to order takeout from this restaurant tonight and we were extremely disappointed! I ordered the cashew chicken and she ordered combo plate #1 (sweet and sour pork, fried shrimp, pork lo mein, BBQ pork, and fried rice) and the food we received was not at all impressive. The cashew chicken had unseasoned chicken and soggy cashews, while the combo plate only had 2 pieces of sweet and sour pork, minimal noodles in the lo mein, and BBQ pork that lacked BBQ flavor. The waitress was friendly and the restaurant had a nice ambiance, but the food was a disaster. The restaurant is clean and simply decorated. The staff was friendly and efficient. The crab rangoon and BBQ pork appetizer were delicious. The Mongolian beef was good, but the BBQ pork foo young was just okay. The general chicken was not recommended as it was overly battered and saucy, similar to sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice was a pleasant surprise with actual egg included. The prices were a bit higher than expected. Overall, while I wouldn't discourage anyone from dining here, I'm unsure if I would personally return.
I purchased a lunch combo for $10 and received 2 pieces of chicken and "pork lo mein". The noodles in the lo mein were scarce and undercooked, giving them a crunchy texture. I recently had lunch at this restaurant and had a great dining experience. The price per person was very affordable, ranging from $1 to $10. The food was delicious, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also excellent, I would give it a 5 out of 5 as well. The atmosphere was nice, I would rate it a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Chow Mein, Sweet and Sour Shrimp, and Fried Rice dishes.
