we decided to grab some china star because we hadn’t had it in awhile. We get home and i begin to eat when i discover a piece of shrimp inside my egg roll. Most people who aren’t highly allergic would be thrilled but for me not so much. i called and the lady didn’t seem to really care she did not apologize she simply expressed all egg rolls have shrimp. I opened up my second egg roll to find NO SHRIMP. so my advice if you are allergic to seafood and love life i wouldn’t go there just head across the street to panda express below are the pictures of the two egg rolls
I have been coming to this place for iver 10 years now and never have I ever had a bad meal. This review is long over due. I had other favorite places but the way they do their general chicken and sesame chicken is just better. Chicken fried rice with no bean sprouts. I am a picky eater so dor me that is perfect. I will continue to go here as long as I am alive. Hands down my favorite. 5 stars is an understatement really.
I went to pick up our order, and it had been a while since our last visit. Honestly, the place was incredibly filthy. I can't understand how they remain open with such dirty carpeting! The whole environment feels like they should be closed for a deep cleaning. The windows were grimy, and the walls were in terrible condition. I approached what I believe is the owner and ended up canceling our order. Food rating: 1.
Without a doubt, this is the BEST Chinese restaurant in the Downriver area! My family and I have been ordering from here for years, and it’s always delicious, with portions generous enough to last us for another two days! Waiting for good food was not a bad time The chicken is chickening-iykyk and the egg roll took me back to child hood.. my family has been getting food from here for at least 20 years now and we have yet to be disappointed, they sometimes dont answer their phones because only the owners work there right now, both in their 60s im assuming, but they still can take your order if you go in and place it. be nice to them please, theyre kind people
You can't go wrong with this spot for Chinese food! The food is fantastic, although the interior is a bit dated, and they only offer carryout now. The portion sizes are generous and delicious. The two owners work harder than anyone you could find—truly inspiring. Overall, I rate the food 5 stars and the service 5 stars!

The food was delicious! While the restaurant itself wasn't the most visually appealing, the dishes made the 20-minute drive worth it. I was very impressed, especially with the moo shu pork, which was a highlight of the meal.
