Twice in the last three weeks it has been my wife's and my pleasure to enjoy delicious Chinese food at this restaurant. On each occasion we have been there with two different couples, and all 6 of us agree that it was the best Chinese food we have had in years. The restaurant is well-appointed and quite large, but still provides a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. Music is playing in the background, but is pleasant and unobtrusive. The wait staff on each occasion were young ladies who were efficient, relaxed and friendly.Between the two nights we have tried the curry puffs, prawn toast and vegetable spring rolls as starters; crispy skin duck, sizzling steak, honey prawns, combination Phoe...
Finally made a reservation after being turned away week before as fully booked and now we know why. The service of all the staff even the new girl was excellent. They were prompt and knew how to converse with customers. Well done. Then the food. It's not the cheapest. I had the combination chow mein. It was huge and the prawns were obviously fresh and very very large. This would feed two easily. If you want quality and quantity this is the place. Will be going back soon. Big stars to the lovely owner and hrr daughter.
We ordered take away last night based on the good reviews.There was a constant stream of people in and out of the restaurant as we waited for our meal. We had spring rolls, dim sims, honey chicken, fried rice, prawn chips and Mongolian lamb. All were delicious and there was plenty left over for lunch today. The only thing is we found it a little expensive. The same order at our local Chinese would be under $50, this cost us nearly $80.
There is a reason this was the only place not packed along Bulcock street and that is due to the fact the food is terrible. They charged almost $10 for a bacardi lime soda which is very overpriced. Spring rolls were passable. Curry puffs tasted like they were last nights leftovers. Sizzling steak sauce was thick and gluggy. Special fried rice bland. Honey prawns ok. We would have been better off going to McDonalds for tea.

We decided Chinese food was the go on our recent visit to Caloundra, and were fairly pleasantly surprised. The miniature spring rolls were wonderful, especially with Chinese beer. Disappointingly, my Allsorts Seafood dish was made of really top class seafood with a sickeningly sweet sauce. I am a diabetic and couldn't eat much because it was too sweet. The ladies toilets taps on the sink are broken.
Went there first time on friends recommendation and restaurant did not disappoint. Staff were very tentative and helpful. Asked for entree recommendations and ordered said recommendations and was not disappointed. Food was beautiful, probably the best Chinese I've had in a long time. Would highly recommend
The food is good but not excellent. I have had better in the past but finding an excellent Chinese restaurant is like finding a needle in a haystack these days. But I would not say don't attend because it is possible that I am difficult to please but did expect more some dishes are better than others
This was by far the best Chinese takeaway we have ever had. Staff were pleasant and order was completed quickly. Great flavours and quality food. Will definitely go there again when on holidays.

Went out for dinner here with family and found staff friendly and good service. Food was great I especially enjoyed the Lemon Chicken.
