I pre-ordered through the app 15 minutes before arriving, but when we got there, they were just starting our order. The restaurant and food prep area were filthy, with food waste scattered everywhere and obvious cross-contamination between different food containers. Even though they had an hour left before closing, all the front chairs were stacked on tables, and three of the four staff members were in the back kitchen seemingly preparing to close. Only one employee, who looked like it might have been his first day, was up front, painfully slow in making two burritos and a quesadilla—it took over 10 minutes. I enjoy the food at Chipotle Mexican Grill; it tastes great. However, the portion sizes are inconsistent, as another reviewer pointed out. The workplace appeared untidy during my visit. There were ten staff members—five in the kitchen and five at the counter—yet I was the only customer, and my order was still incorrect. The cashier seemed uninterested and as if I were interrupting his day. I suspect most of the staff were under 25 and could benefit from more experienced supervision. I frequent chipotle almost daily for my dinner. This location is usually consistent. However, recently they have had minor errors in my orders, but I was patient due to their former consistency. Today, they got the entirety of my order wrong!! The bowl that they made literally consisted of just protein, fajitas, and beans. This is entirely wrong to the point of being unprofessional. Where did the rest of my order go? I was missing cheese, corn, tomato, salsa, AND lettuce!! Due to recent poor performance, I would highly advise anyone to avoid this location.
I would rate this place with zero stars if that were an option. I often order takeout from Chipotle, but my experience here was disappointing. The restaurant was dirty, with spilled food all over the counters, and the quality of the food was subpar. The service was also quite poor. There were a few young staff members who seemed to be new and were unsupervised, which didn't help the situation. My order changed hands five times before it finally reached the cashier. I won’t be returning. There are definitely better options out there.

We ordered four veggie burrito bowls. After reaching home we found only rice, beans and sour cream on it. The actual order included fajita, guacamole, salsa sauce and other add ons. Only a glimpse of onion and tomatoes were found (like tasting counter sample). It seems this location has a habit of not delivering right order and also less portion size than dine in. It seems it is inherited in their business model. Take Out Half Size Dine In Proper Size and cost remains the same. 0 Stars should be an option. Worst Take Out Service.
I go to the San Ramon restaurant a lot. Tonight I ordered 2 sides of white rice and some chips guac. My daughter started to eat the rice, and she said there’s no cilantro in the rice and the rice has absolutely no flavor. So basically I was given plain white rice. tried to call the restaurant to talk to someone, and all I got was an automated voice. The voice transferred me through, and no one answered . Rather frustrating. It’s too late to drive back to the restaurant. Very disappointing.
I see other review a week back that says staff not wearing mask. No change after a week. I just went there and all three folks who were serving food had their mask half way thru down with nose exposed. Their gloves were messy and food was on the chipotle boxes. Medium hot salsa missing so went for mild which was very salty. Update 6/1/22 Gave it a shot again and purchased a burrito and the rice was literally uncooked. What the hell is this place?
Today at lunch, I ordered two bowls and a burrito around 12:23 p.m. Luckily, I arrived outside of the busy rush, so there was no wait. This time, I didn’t have to ask for extra chicken on one of the bowls. My total, including guacamole, chips, and a side of queso, was about $27.00 before tip. By comparison, you can get a breakfast burrito at Safeway for only $5.99 each.
