The employees here are very rude. It was our first time to eat here. The store at 5955 Kingstown T.C. #160 Alexandria, VA 22315. My mother in law ordered her food and asked for the salsa that is the mildest on the side?. They gave her the most spicy kind. She put a little on her food, but it was all to spicy so she couldn?t eat it at all. She went back up to see if they would remake it since that is their mistake. They would not remake it and told her she had to go to the end of the line which was backed up to the door. They would not fix it at all and made it VERY clear to us that THEY DO NOT MAKE MISTAKES!!! I just left out of this restaurant not even 5 minutes ago, upon entering the server behind the counter was rude and acted like she was busy. I stated my order and she barely filled my bowl with rice, when I asked for more rice she put barely anotherscoop in it. I've been burned by Chipotle in the past, when they took the lemons away. But today I boycott. My boyfriend and I both ordered the new steak; his a bowl, mine a burrito. He likes hot sauces and salsas on his bowl, so he orders some in the order line, butwe both like manually applying hot sauce from the bottle ourselves. Today we were informed there was no hot sauce. To top it off, I didn’t get a single piece of meat in my first few bites. It was just sour cream, guacamole, and rice. When I finally found some pieces of steak, I have to admit it was tasty, but by then, my burrito had completely fallen apart. It was the worst assembly of a Chipotle burrito I’ve ever encountered. I also noticed that the employee who prepared my burrito was on her lunch break while I was eating, so it seems she might have been distracted by her own hunger rather than focusing on getting my order right. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. And as for Mr. Pibb Xtra, it tasted like watered-down syrup.
This Chipotle keeps getting worse with each visit. During my last trip, a customer got upset because the cashier asked her to move her card four times, leading her to believe she had been charged multiple times. She left in a huff without her food. To make matters worse, the cashier had an attitude with me. The issue seems to be the overwhelming number of online orders, which creates chaos for in-person customers. Management really needs to balance online and in-person orders better to prevent mistakes and dissatisfied customers.
