I recently had a delivery from this restaurant and called ahead to confirm if the sausage supper came with gravy. The person on the phone assured me it did, but when my order arrived, there was no gravy. I called back and was told they would send the gravy down, but after waiting for an hour, it still hadn't arrived. When I called again, I was told that the gravy was never going to be sent and the staff denied that I had even called in the first place. They abruptly hung up on me and refused to answer when I called back. Now my son's food is cold, and we wasted an hour waiting for something that was never going to be provided. It was a complete disgrace how they handled the situation.
Used to absolutely love the food from New Mossley Chippy but got a takeaway last night and it did not go down well at all. Chicken burger was average at best whereas it used to be 'to die for ' delicious. Spicy battered chicken goujons were really quite gross, thick soggy batter and the chips were just so so. Won 't be back. Such a pity as the food used to be so good, not sure if it 's a new 'chef fryer ' is the problem or if its been bought over but nevertheless we will be going elsewhere in future for our chippy fix.
For two weeks in a row, this restaurant has gotten my order wrong. Last week, it took them an hour to send out the correct order, and tonight they put cheese on my taco chips even though I have a dairy allergy. When I called to inform them, they said they were too busy to send out a new one without cheese. This is unacceptable! I highly advise against using this restaurant. My order was also gross.
This restaurant experience was appalling - the staff were incredibly rude, and even hung up on me after I had already waited two hours for lunch. I will never dine at this place again, and I regret not reading some of the other reviews before placing my order.
