Don’t let the looks or the setting deceive you. Service is poor and indifferent. We booked in person the day before. We were looking for somewhere that did paella. They had a big board outside advertising paella so we thought it would be just right. When we proceeded to order the paella we were told that we should have ordered it at the time we booked the table. It did not say this on the board and we were not told this by the English person we booked with. They did go and ask the kitchen and we did get it but we were made to feel they were doing us a huge favour. I am told the paella was good though. I was the only vegetarian in our party. I'm not sure if it's typical but as an English family in a mainly Spanish resort, I am finding service is average at best. There's are some places that excel, but this isn't one of them. We booked our table the day before, with a rarely found English member of staff, all good. However, we were really looking forward to a paella but when we ordered were told it needed 24hrs' notice. They could have mentioned that 24hrs before when we booked. To their credit, they did offer to make a paella of we were prepared to wait. When it did come, we were not disappointed. Great beach side location.
Just a short walk from main Torre del Mar you find this chirinquito a fev meters from shore. My first visit was just reasently and it was good, even I think they tried to serve rose vine from a old bottle. We had lunch menu, deliceous chrimp coctail well prepared languado and a desert. The price for this lunch under € 9, gives me opportinity to visit more often. Service was ok and warm october afternoon gave a nice setting. I recommend this place even you have walk or take a bus to get there.
When we came in we did immediately did not feel welcome. The restaurant was almost empty, still no one cared to welcome us. De waiter did not smile once and was not interested in our presence. Maybe he had a bad day. Maybe the cook also had a bad day, although the ingredients were there he/she managed to make a poor meal out of it. Bland taste, no love. Even the fries were soft and oily.

Voy a comer todos los veranos, la comida muy rica y raciones generosas. Los camarero son estupendos, con la velocidad que llevan para servir siempre tienen una sonrisa o un comentario agradable, lo recomiendo y seguiré visitándolo todos los veranos, mejor reservar.
I’m a regular customer as I enjoy part of my holidays here every year. Great restaurant, service very nice and a great quality of food, really fresh and very well cooked. I do recommend it if you’re in the area!
Comienzo de temporada. Nunca defrauda. Muy buenos productos, gran atencion por parte del personal y de la jefa. Que más se puede pedir. Animaros a ir.
Cómo siempre que vamos, un lujo. Buen servicio, buena atención, buena comida. Recomiendo los espetos y boquerones fritos abiertos.

Camenbert croquettas are special. Food was ok. Tasteful chicken curry. Service average. Serve with a smile sometimes .
