Chocolate Carousel made and delivered our wedding cake. The tasting was really fun and even the choice between aromas of cake and frostings/fillings was an explosion. The cake looked BEAUTIFUL, exactly what we had after our design consulting. We knew what was going on during tasting! That's the best cake we've ever had, and every one of our guests agreed. People told us that they don't usually like cakes at weddings and they all ripped crumbs. People ran for seconds and thirds! This is not an exaggeration, their cakes are the REAL DEAL! We went with Almond Cake and Lemons Buttercream for what's worth. It is a bit of a trip for us, but this will be 100% our bakery for future events. It helps...
Tara and I LOVED our cake and so did all our guests. I use to work with a DJ in college and I would commonly see plate upon plate with one bite taken out of the guests’ cake. But at our wedding I had at least 10 of our guests tell us they had 3+ pieces and the majority of guests say they ate at least 2 pieces. We had an almond cake with the raspberry mousse filling and I would 10/10 order it again. It was so good the day after as well when we took our top tier home!
We had our wedding in South Jersey, and we chose a 4-tier cake from Chocolate Carousel. I was thrilled that we had such a great option throughout the planning process. Ordering from Tasting Box was a breeze, and the design turned out even better than I had hoped. All our guests raved about how delicious the cake was, especially the carrot cake (I'm not a fan of carrot, so I skipped it, but the lemon flavor was fantastic). I can't wait to order our anniversary cake!

I ordered 2 dozen of their assorted filled cupcakes for my son's hockey team who were playing down the road from the shop. I ordered online from Maryland, sight unseen, on a Sunday morning an hour before I needed them. I called first to see if they could possibly fill my order and they said they had the cupcakes available. My son and his teammates said the cupcakes were the best they've ever had.
The wedding cake and favorite cookies not only looked beautiful, but they tasted fantastic as well. It was a pleasure working with this bakery. The cake tasting experience was enjoyable, and they were well-organized and professional, especially given that Kovid had to reschedule the wedding twice. Our guests loved the cake and cookies, and I would definitely order them again.
The Chocolate Carousel is undoubtedly the best bakery I’ve ever encountered! Since moving to Wall last year, I've bought from them numerous times. Their cakes, cupcakes, and cookies have all been a hit with both our guests and family. I highly recommend them for any event, or simply to satisfy a sweet craving. Just writing this makes me want to indulge again!
