The chocolates at this place are quite good, but the ice cream doesn't really appeal to me. It's creamy and flavorful, but there's something in it that doesn't sit well with me and my friends. Every time we've had ice cream here over the past year, we've ended up feeling sick or experiencing severe allergies within a few hours. I've had ice cream and chocolate from numerous other places, but Chocolats Favoris seems to be the only one that causes these unusual reactions.
Thank you for offering vegan options! I wasn’t thrilled with the flavor of my vanilla ice cream, which was dipped in a sauce that I couldn't quite identify as either raspberry or blueberry (one of the few vegan choices recommended to me). The vanilla ice cream lacked flavor and was a bit under-sweetened, while the chocolate coating was a tad too salty. However, I’m giving five stars for their commitment to vegan options and hope to see improvements in the future!
We placed our order online in advance, but unfortunately, it didn't go through, so we had to wait outside. Aside from that, the soft serve and chocolate were amazing. We tried a few bars—the dulce de leche and cotton candy flavors—and while they were delicious, they were also extremely sweet. The cotton candy cake for takeout was tasty but definitely packed a sugary punch. I will definitely return for more soft serve dipped in chocolate!
If you have a sweet tooth, this place is for you. From ice cream, milkshakes, chocolate to candy they got them all. Everything is above average and really tasty. Parking is easy here. They have a small patio open during the summer which is nice. There is a large European supermarket right next to them so you can shop there and walk off your calories after having desserts here. This is one of my favourite dessert places EVER!!! What a treat. The portions are large so consider getting a mini or baby cone. My kids can never finish theirs so I end up eating theirs too. They have vegan options and lots of other fun treats. The staff are always super friendly. The place is clean and organized. You can eat in or outside on the patio. A must try !!!
One of the happiest places in Vaughan! We stopped by this location to pick up some Easter chocolates. The store is beautifully decorated and offers a wide variety of chocolates to choose from. The soft serve ice cream comes with several dipping options, making it tough to decide! While it isn't the cheapest option around, the experience is definitely worth it!
Alex truly made this restaurant unforgettable for me with her exceptional service! We arrived just a minute before closing, but she was incredibly patient and gracious, taking the time to explain the entire menu. We decided on the hazelnut crunch and the original dark, and they tasted absolutely fantastic. Alex was simply AMAZING!
