Chop Suey - Table reservation

I decided to give this restaurant a try after several friends recommended it. The food is excellent, with many dishes that you won't find at other Chinese takeout places (be sure to try the Cantonese-style king prawns). The vegetarian options are somewhat limited, as they haven't embraced dishes like eggplant as other places have. However, you can definitely tell that all the meals are made from scratch rather than just reheated or deep-fried. The large pancake roll is the best I've ever had. While they don’t offer delivery and aren't on any food apps, I've never waited longer than 25 minutes from ordering to picking up my meal.

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Hitchin. They don’t offer delivery, which I actually think is a nice feature, and their opening hours aren’t very long either. However, it's worth the walk to visit. You can either pre-order or purchase directly at the restaurant.

Been visiting this take away for over 25 years. A fantastic family run business that’s easily the best in the area..(that’s saying something with so many restaurants and take seats nearby) The food and service has always been fabulous. Never ever had an issue. Highly recommended !

It's a bit pricey, but it's definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in Hitchin. The food is delicious, and when I go to pick up my order, I hardly ever have to wait; it's usually ready on time. We often make it a regular spot!

hitchin chop suey is still one of the best Chinese takeaways in hitchin. they will not be disappointed.
