Our experience at the high-end restaurant was disappointing. We have been loyal customers of Chops Steakhouse for many years. Unfortunately, the Lobster Bar did not meet our expectations in terms of food quality and service. Despite being seated promptly, our waitress disappeared after taking our starter orders. We waited over 22 minutes without receiving a water refill or bread. When the bread finally arrived, it took a long time for our main course to be ordered as our waitress was frequently passing by without checking on us. My husband, another couple, and I had a great dining experience at Chops. We had a reservation at 6:30 and didn't leave until 9:00, but our server was attentive and allowed us to savor each course without feeling rushed. The food was once again delicious, with my 12-ounce filet being so generous that I had leftovers to take home. My husband and our friend shared lobster tails and a filet, and still had plenty to bring home. We are already excited for our annual dinner at Chops next year.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding, particularly the crab cakes which were the best I've ever had. However, I was a bit disappointed because even though I had requested a specific table area and changed the reservation size from 4 to 2 people through Open Table a week before, Chops had no record of it and did not accommodate my request.
All the staff was very friendly including the hostess. We managed to get bar seats and although all the bartenders were beyond slammed, they were friendly and courteous. Through no fault of their own, however, they were too busy to give their best attention to any guests. Nonetheless, they were friendly and helpful and we will go back. Book a table now
I visited this restaurant for the second time and did not feel welcomed. The waiter was unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I made a change to my order. The hostess and waiters came off as snobby and condescending. I will not be returning to this restaurant. It is overpriced and not worth it in my opinion.
Delicious food; great service; quiet table as we requested. My husband had the bone in ribeye; I had the horseradish-crusted black grouper. Perfectly cooked! The oyster appetizer was fresh! Definitely plan to return.
The food was delicious and accompanied by a nice glass of wine. I particularly enjoyed the octopus appetizer and the tuna entree!
