We were staying at an apartment in the area and popped into Chouette for a 'Farewell Paris' drink on our way to the airport as we were leaving the City. The place was spotless and we were warmly welcomed in spite of our terrible attempts...at speaking French and were served a large beer and a couple of large glasses of red wine along with some lovely (complimentary) olives. The total bill came to well under and we were a little sad that we hadn't checked the food out earlier in our trip
we stayed in an apartment in the opposite and came to chouette to drink a farewell paris drink on the way to the airport while we had left the city. the place was immaculate and we were greeted despite our horrific attempts...at speaking French and were served a large beer and a few large glasses of red wine along with some beautiful (comlimentary) oliven. the total bill came too good under 20€ and we were a little sad that we had not checked it earlier in our trip.
Its a good size neither too small or too big to lack atmosphere and with several rooms that add to the attraction. Service was efficient and helpful. The menu was a little limited but enough variety for most tastes. Food was well cooked and...presented. Good selection of wines in various sizes. 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 dessert, 1 bottle and 2 glasses of wine was E80 before tip. Parking can be a problem on and off street.
this place was outside the beaten path and on the outskirts of paris, but was the best French food we had been looking for. the young French couple that serves them and takes care of them during the meal are the owners of the restaurants and do a fabulous job on every dish that we had. anyone who is here should go for authentic, domestic cooked French cuisine. great night thanks to all of you! We stayed at hotel nearby and visited this cozy place. The service is warm and friendly. The food were great, especially the fish and white asparagus.
Delicious french food. We ordered deer and beef both was delicious. We also ate mozzarella sticks it was perfect before main dish.
