Really a hidden jewel in the small town of Hespeler. This location is located in such a charming and aesthetic part of downtown, directly on the Grand River and next to other local providers and small restaurants. The food itself was great. In the two times that I have been there so far, each of his courts has consistently fulfilled or exceeded my expectations. The fried rice, even without protein, was full of taste and a great dish to have the next day as residues. The bulgogi hamburger was well seasoned and I loved the hamburger sauce. Service on both occasions was very timely and pleasant. They had a working knowledge about the daily specialties and all the dishes sold out. I can't expect...
We love Choun, especially the recent additions to the menu. We order take out from here pretty frequently and have tried almost 70% of the menu items lol all equally as good as the next. Last night we dined in with a party of 6. Food was even better fresh and everyone loved their dishes. We also tried one of the signature cocktails and bubble tea for the first time and they were amazing! I wish this place was more visible because it definitely doesn't get the attention it deserves in the slightly hidden location.
We had dinner a few weeks ago. The place is neat and beautiful. Staff are super friendly. The food costs were not as high as I expected. But I had the food, the red curry tasted so simple and boring. I was disappointed. I thought this place offers authentic Asian curry, but I'm wrong. We also tried fried spring rolls, not bad.
Had lunch for 12 people and what an amazing job. Food is so good, presentation was nice and they delivered it directly to us. This place is authentic Asian cuisine and there is something for everyone. And we have free dessert! Only visually did we get the food, because it was so good that we dug some shots before we snapped.
