I saw a positive comment about the ribs, so I thought I would try them. They're cracking value for money at £11, and you get a full rack that are beautifully cooked and tender. The sauce is really tasty and the smell from the bag was making me really hungry on the drive home from the shop. I've spoken before about how brilliant the chips are and this visit no exception. I travel 10 miles to get to Chris' because the food is the best around. Friendly staff, and every order is cooked to order resulting in piping hot food and the best flavour.
I've visited more than half a dozen times and every single time it has been awesome. The chips are something else. Light and fluffy inside and crispy on the outside. The batter for the fish is amazing and this is quite simply the best fish and chip shop around. What a shame that you can't dine in, they would absolutely clean up. Everything is cooked to order, and despite price rises in the industry, the prices are still very reasonable.
We had cod and rock, which was fresh and perfectly cooked, with a light crisp batter. Ordered large portions, but medium would have been sufficient. Two portions of chips between three of us but one would have covered us. They don't deliver, so best to phone your order through and collect. Deliceroo Just Eat available but I don't use them.

Great service. Guy that served me was very polite and kind , chips nailed it as always definitely worth the money and 100% would travel from anywhere in the country just to have some of there amazing chips would highly recommend they also put the perfect amount of salt and vinegar on chips
Yet again, brilliant. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Everything was cooked to order, not pre-cooked andtaken from the hot plate like most other fish and chip shops. It is why it is so good. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
We have cod and chips from here every Saturday evening and it is quite simple the best ever! The batter is so light that it really stands out against the competition and we simply wouldn’t go anywhere else for our fish and chips!
Had a skate wing. Cooked to perfection and served with a smile. If I didn’t live in Bedfordshire I’d eat here every day and twice on Sundays!!
