The restaurant serves fish cooked on the grill and although the menu is somewhat limited the food was very very good. The ‘emperador’ is the best plate of food I’ve had in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, the food is exceptional. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by a very abrupt, rude, intolerant and borderline intimidating waiter! I didn’t get off on the best foot with him after asking if they had a non alcoholic cocktail for my partner. He appeared to be aggravated further after I asked him if they served paella. He seemed very intolerant of my limited Spanish speaking skills. My son commented ‘I don’t think he likes us’ and was genuinely scared to ask for more salt after witnessin...
Como el nombre indica, el restaurante está en un espigón al final del pueblo de Garrucha. Es una terraza grande junto al mar, casi sobre el mar. No hay carta. El pescado es del día y se muestra en pizarras. Producto fresco de gran calidad. Casi todo se prepara con un mismo majado de ajo y perejil que acompaña perfecto tanto al pescado como a unas almejas o al tomate aliñao que tiene un sabor increíble. Hay medias raciones que se agradece cuando solo vamos dos personas y queremos probar varias cosas. El personal muy amable. Buena relación calidad-precio. Solo abre en verano.
Essentially a marque on the beach with plastic tables and chairs that only sells fish, tomato salad and cold drinks. The chalk menu was a bit confusing with regards to portion size and price. Tuna was 26 euros, we asked how big the portion was and were assured it would suit two people and it did. My thought was if you didn’t ask you may think it’s too expensive and walk away. The food was so simple but it worked. As I understand only opens in summer months. Definitely worth a try, especially if you like sitting right by the sea with water lapping up over the rocks below.
Solemos venir todos los años a Garrucha y siempre comemos aqui, pero tengo que decir que con respecto al año pasado han subido un monton los precios y el tamaño de las racciones ha bajado, se como muy bien, el servicio es rapido pero no le puedo dar 4 estrellas como la anterior vez que lo valore por el tema del precio, os pongo foto del ticket. En la media raccion de almejas ahora se nota que hay menos cantidad y antes con un bacalao comiamos dos personas y ahora tienes q pedir uno por persona....

El chiringuito el Espigón es en mi opinión el lugar donde mejor y más fresco pescado y marisco se puede comer en Garrucha. Las Navajas espectaculares , la gamba de Garrucha inmejorable, el rodaballo, la corvina, los lenguados o cualquier otro pescado de los que disponen, son una delicia.Todo súper fresco y muy bien preparado.Relación calidad precio, inmejorable. Situado al borde del mar. Servicio y trato muy agradable y profesional. Muy recomendable, hemos ido varias veces y seguiremos yendo
Food -4 Service -1 Really rude arogant waiter. When you are paying 170euro for 3 person lunch you expect a little bit different behaviour. Also if the ocupancy is that high they should hire more staff if they are not doing their job properly. Forgeting what they been asked, not serving plates when the food is served and i could continue even more
Una pasada comer al lado del mar y, sobre todo, ¡comer tan bien! Las gambas rojas son un espectáculo, aunque se pagan. Nos atendieron muy bien y nos asesoraron para que no se nos fuera de las manos el pedir en exceso. La cuenta fue elevada, pero nos dimos un homenaje y pensamos que valió la pena
Dont ask for the shrimps....VERY EXPENSIVE....and not worth at all. The rest of the menu, good quality for a reasonable price although its a bit expensive. Good service and nice staff. I would repeat!
