Oh God, this pains me. I lived locally to The Church for thirty years, only moving a couple of years ago and have been back sporadically for drinks since. But this is the first time in a long time that we'd had food. Take a look at the photo of the fish. Looks lovely doesn't it? The kind of battered fish you'd expect in any pub serving food. Well, that's a photo from a previous reviewer. What I got is so far removed from this photo it may as well have been a chicken. We have just got back from Xmas dinner at the church. What a fantastic time we had. There were 14 of us. The food was great, the service was great. Cannot fault anything, other than it went to quickly. Really was a xmas to remember! I highly recommend the Church to anyone
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and offers great value. The customer service is excellent, with very friendly staff. Dogs are welcome, and the atmosphere is lovely. I would highly recommend this place.
This is a lovely establishment - cozy and traditional. The lunch special is excellent value for money. The staff is friendly, and the chips are delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future.
