We hadn't eaten at Church's in about a year, but when we saw a discount offer on DoorDash, we decided to give it another try since we used to really enjoy their chicken. We were pleased with our meal; everything arrived hot and tasted fresh. The 8-piece chicken meal, consisting of legs and thighs, was both meaty and juicy, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were delicious. However, the biggest surprise was their honey butter biscuits, which we found incredible. They have now become our favorite fast-food biscuits, even surpassing those from Popeyes.

I have to retract my positive review of the Church's on Stockton Blvd. Before placing my order, I mentioned that my previous visit had left me with food that wasn't fresh. They assured me this time would be different, but I feel they were dishonest. I purchased two family meals for a total of $51, specifically requesting all dark meat. Instead, I received mostly thighs, with just four dry, old drumsticks at the bottom. The coleslaw was spoiled, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were also bad. Initially, I didn’t realize I was ordering chicken tenders, and I was disappointed to find that the side portions were only enough for about three people. The biscuits were so tiny that they could be finished in just three bites, and the serving of fried okra was reduced as well. For $4.99, I expected a larger portion. The fried okra and fried chicken were the main reasons I drove such a distance, but given the small sizes, I think I’ll just cook at home instead. That’s what I got for $80.
The Chicken Sandwich Combo was disappointing this time; the sandwich wasn’t hot at all. It was small, dry, and completely lacked mayo. However, the 8 Piece Chicken was excellent. The kids enjoyed it, and so did I. It was hot, fresh, and juicy. At least they got that part right. I think the Chicken Sandwich Combo must have been a stray sandwich that sat too long in the warmer.

The service was slow, and the chicken was nothing extraordinary—just a lot of breading if that’s your thing. The side portions were so small they wouldn’t even serve three people, yet I paid for a four-person chicken dinner. To top it off, it was more expensive than Kentucky Fried Chicken—over $32 for a meal without drinks. I definitely won’t be returning.
Well there was a few things wrong with this order. The chicken meal tasted super oily and the baked Mac that was the side was horrible like it had sat all day. Then the chicken tender meal the tenders were super chewy and no sauce that was requested
This is the best Church's Chicken location in the area, and they serve delicious, hot food. However, I really wish the customer service would improve and that some repairs could be made to the building.
I ordered the 10-piece Family Value Meal. The chicken tasted more boiled than fried, and the portions of the sides were quite small. Overall, I found it overpriced for the quality of the food.
