I'm not a huge chocolate ice cream person, but once I tried the chocolate madness that has brownie chunks I totally had to get this scoop. We hit up Postinos for dinner and when my buddy said there was an ice cream shop across the street we decided to walk over.This shop is small, but the menu is mighty. We ate our scoops of ice cream near the fire at Windsor to stay warm. I'm going to warn you those embers off that fire pit are intense my buddies hair cut on fire . Luckily I caught it in time so there was just a slight singe and I was able to pat the fire out. Luckily she won't need to chop off her beautiful locks. I quickly covered my hair with my hoodie. Let's focus on the important part...
I think I'm a big fan of high-quality ice, and I've tried a lot around the valley. I have to say that I have narrowed it to churn, where I have the best cream in whole phoenix. it is on a great place attached to the windsor, so that people can enjoy dessert after eating there. it feels like an old timely ice salon with a modern twist. they also have really good fresh baked cookies and a great selection of sweets. they have an alcohol-infused ice for adults along with constantly changing seasonal aromes. they are very friendly and will help them rehearse their taste with as many as they want. my favorite is the Vietnamese coffee, I am allowed here as often as my diet!
hands down my favorite ice cream shop. we drive all away from surprise, az (45 minutes a way) to treat us on ice. my favorite taste in churn is vanilla bean. it has such a rich vanilla flavor and is very creamy and smooth. I build my own sunflower and add fresh strawberries (yes, the fresh strawberries are not the syrup stuff), fresh bananas, picked eyes and eddies. I also had their sickerdoodle cookies before and they are also delicious.
Oh man. Worth the wait. We got there at about 9 and waited for about half an hour in line but it gave me plenty of time to decide what I wanted. I was not disappointed.I got the rocky road ...freezie? The rocky road was fantastic. 100% recommend and will be back!!:
