The kind lady working at the counter is always a joy to interact with. She is very accommodating and ensures that our orders are always accurate. The food is enjoyable, although I have noticed some inconsistency in the quality. Some days it's excellent, while other days it's not as great. While there are other churrasqueira places nearby, they don't compare in terms of cleanliness or customer service. The sauce they offer is distinct and may take some getting used to, but now I always ask for extra. In addition to their main dishes, they have a variety of other options and sides available. Overall, I would recommend giving this restaurant a try.
We recently ordered takeout catering from Churrasqueira São Miguel for a family dinner, and it was perfect. The food was delicious, the chicken, rice and potatoes cooked perfectly and so flavourful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We truly felt like we were experiencing a taste of Portugal right at home. For a fantastic takeout catering option, Churrasqueira São Miguel comes highly recommended! We visited the new location at 699 St. Clair Avenue West, but have ordered from the North York location many times.
I ordered their creamy cod (AKA: bacalhau com natas) via Uber Eats and was extremely disappointed. It came in a tiny package, not enough to feed a child, let alone a adult, and it was mostly potatoes, could barely taste the cod and only found one tiny piece of cod hidden in the mashed potatoes. I over paid for a tiny container of mashed potatoes when I expected a decent amount of Bacalhau com natas. Very disappointed. This was the first and will most likely be the last time I ordered from them.
Definitely get the hot sauces, it makes the meal much more enjoyable. I found it kinda dry without the adding sauce. Overall, the chicken was cooked well and skin is crispy.One concern is that I wish the rice was kept in a rice cooker. It was hard/dry.

BEST Chicken Ever! Better than Poppeys, Mary Brown or KFC! Highly recommended for an authentic home style atmosphere. Very friendly staff with outstanding service! I feel like I was at my grandmas home
This is definitely one of the best places for chicken. I've tried their grilled chicken with many friends and everyone always says, "Delicious chicken." I'm happy to have them in my neighborhood.
How the man manage this business. The food was very good (the best thing to buy the grilled chicken) and tart isn’t bad the reason is oil too much (idk)
