I was looking forward to having wings and this place came up on maps. Saw good reviews and decided to go. Go there around 8:15pm, it was packed and the only had 2 servers doing everything. The first server wasn 't pleasant but that may be because she seemed overworked by having to attend the bar and the guests sitting in the front dining area. 1st red flag. She said we could go in the back by the garden area, there is no 'garden ' but there is outdoor seating. The second waiting comes over to take our order and we start by asking for the wings, she apologized that they were out. 2nd red flag. Then we ask for the ribs tips and hotlink sandwich to which she says there might be 3 orders of rib...
I'm not one to write reviews. I was working in the area and was looking for a place to have a cigar and bourbon. Went two nights in a row, and the place is awesome. The owner, Ron, is great and was bartending and serving while I was there due to a staff shortage. The other server was overworked and a little ornery but efficient. Cigars, bourbon, and food were great. Had the smoked wings and burnt tip taco. Excellent. Overall, my kind of place. Just be patient and open-minded if you go.
