Went here because I didn 't want to travel so far to Orland or Merrillville in rush hour traffic. Gas station has a weird energy to it. The customers, staff, etc. Then some older lady who works there said to the guy behind the kiosk, right in front of me, 'make sure you charge for the frosting cup ' and something about how 'there 's already enough frosting on the roll '. Really, as if I was going to try to finesse Cinnabon out of 60 cents for some frosting? Anyway, she could have waited until I left or whispered it. That was rude. This was my second visit to the Pilot Center specifically for Cinnabon rolls. I called around 1:30, and the person who answered and was baking assured me they had some hot and fresh. Although I'm currently using a walker, I nearly dashed out the door! The weather was lovely, the ride was enjoyable, and the service from the staff was great. A lady behind me also decided to buy six rolls at once! If you're going all out, make sure to splurge on the extra cream cheese. I walked in, grabbed a soup spoon, and finally satisfied my craving! I was thrilled to discover a location near me, but now my enthusiasm has faded. These were easily the driest cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted. The cream cheese was barely noticeable. I recommend heading to Chicago Ridge instead.
They had what I needed when Orland was out of stock. My only complaint is that the Cinnabons didn't come with extra frosting. Book a table now
