Very nice hotel. Just a few minutes walk to Meckenheim train station. The 3 and 4 star rooms are each very nicely furnished and clean. The reception was super friendly. You have rarely felt so good. The breakfast buffet has a large selection. There is certainly something for everyone. The hotel has a customer parking lot. However, depending on the time, the exit and turning left can take a long time because there is a lot of traffic on the main road. But you don't notice any traffic in the rooms.
Good middle class hotel. Different room categories. The shower was on the ground floor but small. Larger ones are subject to an additional charge. Breakfast buffet is very good and extensive. The higher price of accommodation within the locality does not correspond to the quality of the accommodation. I would expect more for my money. The equipment of the rooms is older, some of its parts are in worse condition, only partially modernized. I rate cheap breakfasts with a sufficient selection of dishes as a positive.
I used to stay here annually for work and it was always a pleasure. Very nice people with clean and comfortable rooms, and great food at the restaurant. Good location as well. I visited Meckenheim knowing almost no German but they always made me feel totally welcomed and helped me in English. Great hotel.

It's easy to get to by car (right off the main road) and had enough parking space available (its €5 per day). It's a great central place from explorer the wider area from.
Good hotel with good service and nice staff, but we’re in 21st century and with no air conditioners in the rooms..it’s very hard to sleep…
