This was our second time dining at Au Premier. Back in we had a great experience and now in they lived up to our expectations. This is an establishment with standing that serves fine dining of great quality. The staff is very friendly...and very well mannered. They make you feel welcome and serve you with style. The food is nicely presented and tastes great! For most of the dished you can choose between a normal or smaller portion. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we visited it for the second time. This is really a pity as it is a restaurant that we would recommend to everyone that visits Zug and is in search of dining in style!
We have been man time to the restaurant Au Premier but this time the owner Mr. Hegglin himself served the guest with pleasure This is pehaps the most relaxed place to enjoy with beautiful vie nfrom the restaurant the Old Town of Zug/Switzerland. And you...should go there when they serve Zuger Röte fish in November with a Glas of Arneis wine. If you ask Mr Hegglin flambee the Röte himself in the warm ambiente.
Thoughtfully-prepared dishes sourced from local ingredients. It is white asparagus season so that was a highlight. Great wine selection and amazing service. Just bring a great dinner companion as the tempo is traditional, long, and leisurely. I was dining solo so it was a bit...awkward for me.
Service was great and the dining room is beautiful. I found the menu somewhat limited but what I ate was delicious.
