The food good but customer service over phone is out of pocket teach them some manners I order on Uber eats about 70$ Worth I call them before she call me to make sure they had what I order she say no we don’t have shrimp we don’t have fried chicken don’t have yams why is it on Uber than ? Than she got the audacity to get vex with me talking about can u hurry and order cause I have people on the line we only 30 seconds in the convo plus now I need to know what you have then she says what they have.Before I can even think of what I want cause of there mistake on Uber she like can u hurry ? at that point I’m just like cancel my order than they take 3 hrs to cancel it. Don’t order on Uber eats...
Prices have increased since Covid19. Owner is usually there during day but at night the prices are different. No real consistency. Some days food is 4 star the next visit you'll want a refund. The restaurant is usually empty but you'll have a wait. When you order your food if you go in the morning be prepared to wait. I was told not everything is cooked fresh daily so I assume some days it's warmed up frozen food. Doubt I'll be returning since price increase and lack of consistency with food.
This restaurant is incredibly family-oriented! I absolutely love it! The staff has such wonderful hearts; I've seen them feed those in need, and I've never encountered any negativity during my visits. They have consistently been kind since the first time I dined here about 11 years ago. Plus, the food is fantastic!

I had the worst oxtail meal I've ever experienced. The oxtail tasted like something out of a Chef Boyardee can, and the rice was unappetizing. It was the biggest waste of $60 I've ever spent—I ended up having to throw out the entire order, which was just two meals.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I love the food. I ordered fried chicken but they were out of fried chicken so the restaurant called me and asked me what else I would like. The food is seasoned very well. I can’t wait to order again.

Amazing food. Love their mac and cheese and Ox tail. Service is great and they stay open late.
Better now that it is slower. But always good late night eats.
