we often visit for brekkie or lunch as a family The Clancy breakfast at $8.50 is very good value and at $2.50 for a pot of tea forget the Coffee Club !! The owners are friendly and funny and have made a big improvement since buying the business approx one year ago If you go for lunch their burgers are the real thing and ask for a knife otherwise you will struggle to eat it! If you are looking for white tablecloths and pink napkins this is not for you It is wholesome food at the right price Well done guys Irene and Keith Brown
We had read positive reviews of Clancy's so decided to try a fish and chips for 2 pack. Although the servings were generous, most of the food was overcooked, greasy and way too salty (even though we requested a light sprinkling only). On the positive side, the crumbed calamari was not over-cooked and so was tender.
Servings have become stingy.. Service noy always happy or smiling.. and waited for ever to get our food. It was busy on Saturday - but paid $60 for fish chips Calamari - should of served 7 people nicely but did not sadly.
Sorry but would have to be the worst fish n chips I've had. Over cooked chips, fish was rubbery and the slices for dessert tasted like dishwashing liquid... Expensive and disappointing.

Clancy's is a pleasant takeaway - friendly and efficient service. We particularly love their beer battered chips, the other food we have ordered has been good too.
Come here almost everyday for my lunch break, get the chicken bacon and cheese burger every time without hesitation! Best burger ever!!
Good food, clean shop, nice staff. The new owners (think they have been here about a year now) include a chef and it shows
2 burgers with the lot, 1 chicken bacon cheese burger and fish pack for 2 feed our family if 5 perfectly. Very happy.
