So much potential missed, or ignored, a great historical building begging to be noticed, traditionally travellers gather for food, drink and companionship, story telling. Sadly uninspiring, lacking creativity, or fanfare, dishes. Patrons left standing in a place surrounded by some of the best produce in the world, yet served nothing resembling grown in paddocks 2 kilometres away, by proud families of farmers. It takes a chef, with that same passion of growers to deliver it to a plate. We all deserve and demand better, please entice your long suffering locals and travellers back for a reason. Thank you.
We used to be fans of this restaurant, but not anymore. It seems like something has changed, maybe the chef. I ordered a chicken parmesan with mashed potatoes, but instead got a beef dish. The food seemed to have been microwaved with hot and cold spots. The chicken didn't seem authentic and had a strange smell. The cheese on top was not properly grilled. It's apparent that everything is bought frozen in bulk. After eating, I had to rush home and ended up getting sick. It seems like they are cutting corners which is affecting the quality and freshness of the food. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
The Butter Chicken made with chicken legs was terrible, burnt to a crisp and black. I had two weak Pina Coladas that were overpriced at $40 for both. The restaurant was beautiful and ornate, but very hot on a warm day. However, I enjoyed the company of my family. Nearby activities were limited, with weekends being quiet. The service was rated a 3 out of 5, and the location was rated a 5 out of 5.
I was served by Jennifer and she was very rude. She swore behind the bar and acted as if asking for a drink was an inconvenience. The service was absolutely ridiculous for customers trying to support struggling establishments. I would rate the rooms a 1, the service a 1, and the location a 2.
