My wife and I and two daughters stayed here for 2 nights in August 2023. On the plus side The location is great, on the sea front overlooking Tenby's south beach with a 2min walk into the centre of town. There is a large public car park 2min walk away. It has a well stocked bar, large beer garden and the bar prices are sensible. The staff we spoke to were friendly and accommodating. On the downside The rooms are very very basic and look tired along with drab and dirty thread bare carpets in the halls and stairs. The whole building could do with an overhaul. But with such a demand for accommodation in the town, they get away with it charging £170 a night without breakfast. We didn't eat there...
The hotel was advertised at £95 per night when I went to book it was £117 per night plus extra for breakfast!, the room we had was very small, The staff were polite, unfortunately the evening entertainment a male singer was very typically average, The breakfast was very good and served quickly. Would I stay again YES although I can't help feeling for the money theres better places to stay in Tenby.
Stopped here for a drink in the beer garden which is open to non residents until 7 pm ,lovely garden with flower and trees . Walking through the hotel to the garden it looked very tired and shabby not somewhere I would like to stay .
Very noisy overnight ..people running around corridors in the early hrs ..not a family hotel at all..then a drunk comes in at 2 am..hardly able to stand yet allowed to come in and disrupt families ..
