The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming. The staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. The food is absolutely outstanding! We both ordered steak with mashed potatoes; I chose asparagus as my side while my friend opted for carrots. I started with a Caesar salad while she had the watermelon and tomato salad, and she also indulged in a slice of carrot cake. Our steaks were cooked to perfection (medium rare) and were seasoned wonderfully. As a potato lover, I found the mashed potatoes so delicious that I wanted to savor every bite! Took my neice here for lunch today her choice her mistake. The restaurant itself was full of atmosphere but the lunch menu was a 8 x 10 sheet of paper with limited items none of which offered much. My neice had the smoked chicken pot pie which ended up being the pot pie filling and a biscut as the crust, my sister had the steak friters which was an 8oz flank steak without seasoning and fries which she replaced with a cup of salad and I had two appetizers the sauted shrimp (3 jumbo) and the toasted ravioli (2 super large) that tasted burned. I came here with very high expectations because I had been here two years ago and had one of the best steaks I have ever eaten.This time the steaks were so over cooked we had a hard time cutting them. We ate about half of the steak before just giving up. The potatoes were good but served lukewarm.When our server asked how it was I was honest and said the steaks were so chewy we couldn’t eat all of them. When the manager finally came over, he informed me that since they had "fired the product," they couldn't replace it but could offer a 30% discount on the steak. I was also given the option to order another entree, which I declined. To add insult to injury, my inedible steak remained out of sight, while my husband took his meal to go. In a bizarre twist, the waitress even suggested we could take the steak home— which we did, straight to the dumpster in our garage. I have never encountered a 'medium' steak that was so tough to chew, and I was frustrated to be charged for such a poor dish. In summary, I advise eating at your own risk here. I am not one to post negative reviews, having been a restaurant owner of 3 locations. However, as a tourist at a bar in St. Louis, this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. In a group of 5 female customers, we were snubbed by the 2 bartenders. We asked for Fireball shots, and rather than offering another option, we were told to go to another bar down the road. We are successful women with doctoral degrees who were polite, paying customers, but were snubbed. We took our business back to our hotel bar at the Hilton. If you aren’t a white male, don’t bother coming here… because those were the only customers at the bar that the bartenders were willing to serve.

Loved the atmosphere of this Ball Park Village restaurant. The restaurant is located in a hotel and is surrounded by glass walls so that you can enjoy the view of the Ball Park Village. The customer service was amazing and the prizes were reasonable. The only reason why I am only giving 4 stars is because my pancakes were super thick (in my opinion) and the potatoes were kind of bland (in my opinion).

What an outstanding restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Clark and Bourbon. It truly was the highlight of our trip, and the service was exceptional. Our server, John, was incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for making my fiancée's birthday so memorable! Anyone visiting St. Louis must stop by Clark and Bourbon; you won’t be disappointed!

It’s not the food its the service. Waited 25 mins to be seated with only 2 small parties in the whole restaurant. Then another 20 mins for the food, then 40 mins for the check. I was alone and they definitely were staffed but all the customers were frustrated with the wait times. If you don’t have over 2 hours to eat, do not come here for breakfast. Food was decent though. The meat was quite disappointing. I tried the steak once and the lamb another time, and both were overly salty and dry. On the positive side, the drinks were good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, the food definitely needs significant improvement. As for parking, there's an open lot adjacent to the building.
