The Laoyou soup had a delicious, rich fermented black bean flavor, and the beef tripe absorbed the flavors well. The Pickled cabbage noodle soup was more mild, but adding the house-made chili oil sauce improved it. While it was decent, it didn't quite compare to the pickled vegetable soup at Noodleosophy. The Guilin rice noodles appeared to be a popular choice, with many takeout orders. The soy milk was tasty and refreshing. The service was good, the tables were clean, and the bathrooms are currently being remodeled.

Really great place with the nicest staff! I wasn't familiar with Guilin cuisine at all prior and the owner has been so nice explaining everything. I go with the dry noodle mix with marinated beef crispy pork. SO good. If you like it spicy, be sure to ask for their homemade spice mix rather than a typical hot oil amazing flavor and spice level. Be sure to get the plum drink as well! One of my favorite drinks at a restaurant I've ever had! Been here 4 times in thelast month : cannot recommend it enough
The quality and flavor of the Guilin noodles here are not as good as the ones in China. They are less authentic and the broth is too salty compared to what I experienced in China. The noodles are served in a paper bowl and the toppings are not authentic either. The service is lacking, as there is no warm welcome and you have to scan a QR code on the table to see the menu and pay at the counter by yourself. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing.
Get the guilin noodle again, delicious. Laoyao noodle was very sour, Good if you like that kind of sour. Snow dessert pastry to go was really good. Really nice and friendly service. For one of my dishes they put in the wrong noodle. Round noodle instead of flat noodle. They offered to redo the dish, I asked them just to give me some flat noodles which they did. Will come back Book a table now
The crispy pork is by far the most impressive topping. The pork feet are also fantastic and come in a generous portion. However, the brisket is a bit too chewy for my liking. While the other toppings are good, they don't particularly stand out. I believe the soup could use some improvement, which is why I'm giving it one less star. Overall, it's definitely worth trying!
The food at this restaurant is of poor quality. The Five Blessings Guilin Rice Noodle is excessively salty and lacks any other flavor. The Deep-fried Egg Pork Ribs Over Rice dish does not resemble the picture or description that was advertised. It's a shame that this restaurant has declined in quality as it used to be quite good.
The food here is average and just okay to eat. The soy milk comes in a small cup, and while the fried dough sticks are quite good, the snail rice noodles aren't as tasty as those you can find in the supermarket. The Guilin rice noodles are pretty mediocre as well.
This restaurant serves the most authentic Guilin noodles I have ever had in the Bay Area. I am thrilled to have found this place, as the noodles remind me of home. The dry Guilin noodles with crispy pork and beef brisket are a must-try dish. Book a table now
Absolutely terrible fried chicken wings! They were overcooked, burnt, and too salty! What really puzzled me was that there were no actual chicken wings at all! The menu listed them as fried chicken wings, but they didn’t deliver at all!
Very delicious! So glad I found this new amazing restaurant!
