Came here two times during my visit to St. Louis. This place was highly recommended for dessert online and the recs did not disappoint! When you first walk in, you're greeted with the sweet aroma from the goodness that they serve and their little gift shop. You can find things like shirts, soaps, and more! On a rainy evening it was dead, but on the day when the weather was better and after dinner time, it was busy. Still worth the wait because I ordered the Gooey Butter Cake flavor because of it being a St. Louis thing. I loved it! You get little chunks of cake in it. My boyfriend ordered the Blue Moon not knowing much about the flavor. He wasn't too keen on it as he felt like it tasted like...
A new ice cream shop just opened in the Central West End, and I had heard good things about it. I took my kids there for a treat, but my first impression was disappointing. The staff was made up entirely of people of color, while the walls were adorned with images predominantly featuring white people enjoying ice cream—lots of photos of white individuals or vintage-style images. As a white man, I found this particularly disheartening. On top of that, the mint chocolate chip flavor was not up to par. Unfortunately, I think I’ll pass on this place next time and head down the street to Jennie’s Ice Cream instead.
I'm absolutely amazed! I had no idea that vegan ice cream could be this delicious! I went in craving the vegan peanut butter cookie, but unfortunately, they had run out. Instead, I decided to try the vegan tahini chocolate chip, and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was creamy, sweet, and balanced with rich, dark chocolate. It was the perfect treat for a scorching 105-degree day. The shop has a delightful parlor vibe with a modern touch—simply charming!
Overpriced mediocrity. Flavors were chaulky and not creamy. Adventurous flavors but not well executed with a bit too much sugar. A person behind the counter was a bit rude. Kids scooping ice cream did a good job. Unsure why reviews are so good. This is a definite pass. Book a table now
The vegan options here are outstanding! They are smooth and creamy, bursting with flavor. The Tahini chocolate chip is incredible, and the lemon poppyseed is simply delightful. Our family has sampled several of the flavors, and none of them have disappointed.
Sooooooooo freakin good! Probably the best ice cream I've had in a while. The mint ice cream had real piece of mint and large chunks of chocolate and also I loved their concept, the interior decor is unique. Would absolutely come back again and again.
What's not to like great ice cream, boozy even if that suits you. The locations are all well situation (minus the parking), and the staff are always friendly.
What a treat to find this quaint ice cream store with fabulous ice cream. I had a mint chip my husband had a Martini flavor, both were excellent. Book a table now
While the ice cream was tasty, the scoop was unnecessary small for the price on it. The ice cream didn't even touch the edges of the mini cup.
