The whole stay was a bit of a rollercoaster, we were arriving late, 9pm and had called in the week prior to ensure this was ok and acceptable before booking it, to our surprise on arrival there was no obvious way to check in and...we were not given instructions on how to do so. After ringing the door bell four times finally we were greeted and to the gentleman's credit he was very helpful and polite. we were booked into a double cabin, but found out on arrival it's actually a split shared donga. The bed was comfortable though and shower pressure was great. We stayed overnight at this campground. The park itself was very quiet, but there was some noise coming from nearby shops throughout the night. The cabins are old but clean, and at $30 per night, it is good value. The grounds are well kept. The management has changed since our last visit, and they now prefer reservations, especially on weekends and holidays since their office hours are limited. Many people were turned away during our stay, so make sure to plan ahead and book in advance, as this is the only campground in the city.
We were only staying for a night but found that the park was very clean, the amenities were fantastic (great shower pressure) and the camp kitchen had lots of additional supplies if we needed them. The area to clean dishes was stocked with detergent, scourers...and tea towels. The other campers were fantastic, offering up afternoon tea and fresh fruit. We were surprised that the park didn't offer a dump place but found that there was one in the town.
The restaurant has a perfect small car park, is pet friendly, and has helpful staff. It is within walking distance to the local pub. The only downside is that the amenities block could use an update, but it was still clean and tidy. I would give it a 10/10 rating and would definitely stay again.

Great little caravan park . Service was excellent and facilities very clean. New managers have taken over. Great place to stop if you are heading north as next camping/caravanning stop is Charters Towers. Do not rely on Belyando Crossing
Friendly, quick check in. We got put on 2 sites so we did not have to unhitch the caravan. Absolutely so easy. Quiet, very clean amenities and great hot water showers. Support the small towns, they have lots to offer.
The restaurant has clean and well-maintained facilities, a large campsite, and it is conveniently located within walking distance to the city center. The staff is friendly and the check-in process is quick and easy.
A very friendly park with good facilities. The management was most helpful and very obliging. Being extremely dry the park was In pretty good shape. Recommend it as a good place to stay.

big for a night stop, very busy, so make sure that they book, city has land reserves not go any further belyando over its one dump tip
Found the people at the van park very helpful and the cabin we stayed in for 3 nights was comfortable.
