I recently stayed at the newly re-opened Clermont Country Motor Inn. The rooms are good size with comfortable beds. It has undercover off-street parking for cars and chairs for guests to sit outside the rooms on the northern wing. I had a fantastic dinner and a few drinks at the in-house Red Hide Bar & Grill. The management and team were very friendly and had a hearty Big Breakfast before I left. Would highly recommend to any traveller.
When people are tired of typical pub prices, they come here. The restaurant offers well-presented meals, friendly and professional staff, and excellent food. Two of my colleagues were also very impressed with their meals. It is clearly a favorite among locals and those looking for a nice meal in a relaxed and quieter atmosphere.
After driving 9 hours south of Cairns, it was a pleasure to stop at Clermont Country Motor Inn for a meal at the Red Hide Restaurant. The food was fabulous, the service was excellent, and all for $110 including a bottle of Italian Prosecco. The salmon and chicken dishes were to die for, and the cream brûlée was also delicious.
All dinners were charged back to Stayzz Motel, the managers are new but were very helpful and friendly, waitress was introduced she gave recommendations , The meals for 3 nights were fantastic and would equal any big city restaurant, I will eat here again next...time in town. Book a table now
my man and I had the old steak and it was amazing. the restaurant was able to replace an item for my gluten-free and milk-free needs and also in the position to replace an item for my man without pigs in it.
We just had the best meal we've had in years. The portion sizes were generous with the chicken and steak, and the prices were excellent. It's hard to believe we found such a gem in a small town like this.

absolutely amazing eating and service. found it very difficult to choose which meal. a table of 8 all loved their meals. this pleasant, cozy place could not blame.
