Overpriced! Totally disappointed! Having voiced my concerns with the restaurant directly prior to our visit having read the other reviews. They assured me the food and service was amazing. It really isn't I should have known it wasn't going to be good when the manager approached us as we entered with his name badge upside down. Good start but hey not a big deal. First course was cold, flavour of the scallops was non existent. Pigs cheap was tough and cold. The serving staff ignore us to the point I had to actually get up and go to the desk to get the glass of wine I'd ordered with my main course. By the time it arrived I'd almost finished. It was my wife's 40th birthday, we'd arranged a surp...

We have over the years dined here quite often, as we have a place just opposite the hotel, but last week was the first time since covid. We were a party of 4, and had 4 starters, 4 mains, 3 deserts, 2 bottles of white wine, (the wine menu is extremely highly priced) and 2 or 3 glasses of red wine. The bill was close to £400, which is a LOT higher than the last time, plus a pre dinner round in the bar cost £50! Well OK, I know prices have gone up, but although the food was good, I didn’t consider it extra special enough to warrant the price. The staff and service were fine, and of course the view is spectacular…but I don’t think we’ll be going back anytime soon!

My friend and I visited for an afternoon tea . My friend is disabled in a wheelchair and paralysed form the waist down . But she can transfer form wheelchair to chair . Whilst everything was lovely the waitress who wasn’t young I’d say in her 40’s perhaps 50’s at one point asked to move her wheelchair so that it wasn’t in the way . My friend and myself thought this very rude as the wheelchair are her legs. Not good in terms of disabled awareness priority was made for another elderly couple who could have sat at another table . Disappointing. Plus afternoon tea was overpriced .

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch yesterday. Gorgeous starter, mains and desserts. We were lucky enough to get what is in my opinion one of the best tables over looking the most magical and ever changing view, which added to the great time we had. People say it’s expensive here, but I feel it’s worth every penny for such a memorable experience. The staff are so attentive, kind and caring. Ethan did a great job looking after us. I love this place and always feel relaxation wash over me as I walk in. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
