Steak was very under cooked. I asked for medium rare and it came out rare with the intent on flushing the cooking process on the searing hot plate. The problem was it came out right after the salad so by the time I got to the steak the plate was room temp and couldn’t finish “cooking”. There were some pieces that were done eventually, but for the most part the $50 t-bone was inedible. Also the only flavor on the steak was “char”. No seasoning whatsoever. I got a baked potato and there was no salt, no butter, and no pepper on the table. So I had a bland potato. To go with my bland steak. The servers never came by to “check-in”. Table bread was stale. I guess that’s what I get for going there...
Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The staff is amazing, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The steaks (ordered a rib eye, medium rare) were excellent! Rivals some of the best steakhouses in nycI have been to many over the years. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Del Frisco's is my new favorite in Brentwood. My favorite is the Steakhouse salad yum, always perfect every time. The waiters and Manager seems very attentive.
