We were on a bus tour because of a cruise we were on and stopped by this restaurant for the lunch we received with the tour. It was my first bowl of bison chili and it was to die for. The best I've ever had...in my life and even since. The biscuit was deep fried and was perfect in my mouth. The cole slaw was just right. A free drink to top it off and I couldn't have been happier. The workers had the most beautiful smiles and made us feel so welcomed. After we ate, we went to the suspended bridge and braved the chilly weather to get a phenomenal view over a glacier lake. The South Klondike Highway attraction, Yukon Suspension Bridge has opened their gem of an eatery, The Cliffside Restaurant. Absolutely stunning architecture, magnificent views and great food and friendly service, this is indeed a great find in the middle of nowhere. Located halfway between Skagway Alaska...USA and Carcross Yukon Canada, this breakfast and lunch establishment is awesome. Bison chili is a specialty...and it's excellent. This restaurant experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly. We were seated with a breathtaking view of the St. George area and our waiter, Kyle, was outstanding. He was enthusiastic, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. Kyle had great suggestions and checked in regularly to ensure we were enjoying our food. The meal was delicious and the music (Michael Bublé) was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in St. George.
I was blown away by this restaurant! The food was fantastic and the views from the cliff side were absolutely breathtaking. The service was excellent and the ambiance was just right - not too fancy, but not too laid-back either. Overall, the views were the highlight of the experience. Don't miss out on dining here - you won't regret it!

we have eaten here several times, all super, this time we had the buffalo chili, with a bungalow that was branded with her logo. the brot was something of the best I've ever eaten. the chili was fantastic. the hopes are great! they will. will be open only on 16 September this year and then reopened in May 2016 for the next summer.
we stopped here on the way back to skagway and missed the Tourbus crowds. eating seemed much better than everything in carcross. they had a real cook that made the poutaine we call discories, buffalo chili and burger. the brand was rolling. a nice note. we also have a discount to cross the bridge.
Amazing venue, amazing food! Our server Cydney was a delight and extremely knowledgeable of the food, ingredients and details! I spent my birthday having lunch there today and there were more food I wanted to try, but I was so stuffed, I didn't have dessert. Would go again!
The staff and cooks at Cliffside Restaurant did an excellent job! Our visit was perfect and the food was amazing. I highly recommend trying the watermelon feta salad. They have mastered the art of serving efficiently without rushing us out. Well done!
