very successful lunch on the holiday route. Refined entries, very fresh day pulp (swine play) dessert excellent. Even the bread is good.The young and pretty waitresses are professional and smiling. I advise you to discover the city center that is close, along the island, the view of the st-stone cathedral from the tourist office is magnificent.
Honestly the best restaurant we've been to. Virginie is the ultimate hostess and the food is incredible. We were feeling in need of a lovely relaxed afternoon and we had the most delicious food and stunning wine. Thank you so much for looking after us so well, our lunch started at 1pm and we left at 6:30pm...say no more!
We had a very nice dinner, including really good vegetarian main courses that were much appreciated -- not always an easy find in France. The staff were charming and made the whole experience relaxing and pleasurable. We'd happily go again and recommend to anyone passing through or staying in Saintes

Food and service is always good. However the dessert was a bit disappointing along with the wine choice which pared it by any shape or form it was not a dessert wine. Food was tasty as always. Will return
Considering this restaurant is in the M2017 guide the menu is limited and disappointing. While the food was well presented the taste was missing and exspensive.

The home smoked meat was great, however starter and dessert a bit disappointing (but reasonably good). The Express menu has a great price/quality ratio.
