We have family staying and wanted to take them somewhere we’ve had good experiences at. However, on this occasion we were disappointed. We arrived at 11 when I had booked our table and the young man on reception did not seem particularly awake and was rather monosyllabic. We were shown to our table and our server introduced herself. She was polite and took our drinks orders, however, when they came the lattes were luke warm and had to be sent back. The manager made fresh ones which were lovely and hot. It was another 15mins before we were asked for our food orders, which finally arrived just before 12pm! By this time we were rather hungry and to add to this my daughter’s poached eggs were co...
I made a reservation for PM, checked in at PM and didnât get seated until after PM. They were busy so weâll give them the benefit of the doubt. With that said, while our server was really nice, the food was absolutely terrible and took forever to get to us. Not one person in my party of five was impressed⦠not one. The drinks were pretty good but for the wait time for everything, definitely not worth it. We wonât be back.
We absolutely loved Harrison our waiter. The problem we had was with the food. We ordered appetizers and they brought them out at the same time as our dinner. The food was good but our son’s meal was burnt-he had a cheese pizza. We came here for the atmosphere and the food. We were disappointed by the rush of food and lack of it timing from the kitchen. Again Harrison was great and enjoyable!
We have been Clyde's fans for years. We shared our recent diner with long time college friends with whom we used to go to Clyde's in G-Town when they still lived in DC. Definitely a great evening for all.

Clydeâs is always good. Havenât had a bad experience yet. Whether is just my wife and I, with the kids, or with a group weâve always had a great experience. Clydeâs is a solid choice.
really great eating, really slower service for entrees and dessert during the lunch hour. order many appetizers and drinks and ask for brot to enter them.
great suggestion of alex for the muscheln with the new recipe. the crab soup remains delicious. the riesling fits well with the seafood.
Good food. Portions are very large. Had the Ahi Tuna appetizer as main course and it was more than enough. Tasted great!
