CO - Table reservation

We only tried CO because it was around the corner from our cousin's flat in the less stylish 18th arrondissement, near Porte de Clignancourt, and she'd heard some good things about it from friends. After a week of satisfying, but therefore predictable traditional French cooking, our dinner at CO was a real surprise. Their excellent Icelandic chef comes out with his equipe to serve each course, and everything they served was breathtaking. With a party of five, we ordered everything officially offered on the menu (although we observed a diner, evidently a friend of the owner, who ordered 'hors de la carte'). Incroyable, véritable coup de cœur. Déco très travaillée, insolite et étonnante, style brocante, hypster.Que dire du repas, des plats recherchés, élégants, fins, d'une saveur dingue.Le chef se déplace en personne pour chaque plat, verser la sauce en expliquant la nature des ingrédients, ce fût un excellent moment culinaire.Le service est aux petits soins, très attentionné. Je vous recommande d'y aller pour un moment de détente, toute une soirée, car le service prend un certain temps, c'est l'esprit du restaurant.Une magnifique découverte.

This was a gem of a restaurant and the food was amazing particularly the ‘house specialities’. Very eclectic but would recommend you seek it out. The staff were excellent as were the wine recommends and cocktails.

Lovely bohemian artsy place, with amazing food and company. Loved getting away from tourists and into the realness of Paris
