My wife and myself were recommended to go to the Coach Horses for lunch we were greeted by a young lady who told us and showed to sign in our reg on our car , we had not booked a table and as they were busy we had to sit in the bar for our meal but it was perfectly fine clean and comfortable ordering at the bar was easy and served by a very polite and helpful bar man, we both had a Hunters Chicken and this is one i often choose as it is one my favourite meals so i know when this done well and bang on absolutely perfect and the sauce on it was perfection. We chose the Coach Horses for our annual Ladies Day lunch, based on a number of recommendations. The team organised the logistics for a group of 25 people with a range of food choices, including gluten free. All went very smoothly, everybody enjoyed the occasion. The food was excellent, served hot and in a timely manner (and with some awesome cheesecake for dessert). Very pleased.
I was looking for a place for a roast dinner and this place didn’t disappoint, the food was cooked to perfection, everyone was extremely friendly and the prices affordable. Definitely worth the visit.
Having been to a few Greene king pubs this is by far one of my favourites to go to always friendly and welcoming staff. Food was excellent as always. I will be visiting again.
