The food was outstanding, earning a solid 5 out of 5. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor.
The service was also exceptional, receiving a perfect score of 5. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Lastly, the atmosphere was delightful, also deserving of a 5. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect setting for a lovely evening out.

I rated this restaurant 3 stars instead of 3.5 due to the service. Our server seemed unsure about what one of the menu items was, and he disappeared for a while during our meal. When he finally returned, he didn’t inquire about dessert (which we were actually interested in trying); instead, he just said, "Sorry, I got held up. I'll bring you the check," and rushed off before we could express our interest in dessert. This surprised me since the restaurant wasn't busy at all.
Overall, the food was mediocre, and I would likely seek out another Italian restaurant for a better dining experience and improved service.
The pizza and appetizers here are outstanding. The owner and staff are very friendly, making for a welcoming atmosphere. The dining area is comfortable and offers free parking. I can confidently say that this is the best pizza I've had in Monmouth County. The quality and freshness of the ingredients really stand out. I’m not sure why this place isn’t more popular, as it offers far superior pizza compared to the usual contenders in Monmouth County. It truly tastes like authentic pizza from Italy.
This was my third time ordering, but instead of a large pie, we received a small one. The pizza seemed reheated and lacked the freshness we enjoyed during our previous two orders of the large pie. On a positive note, the Rigatoncini Alla Bolognese was excellent, and the Fried Dough with Powdered Sugar is always a delightful treat.

I have always found everything I've ordered from this restaurant to be delicious. The flavor of the pizza cooked in the coal oven is truly unique and gives it a completely different taste.
Amazing Americana pizza from Coal tonight. The crust was nice and thin, and the tomato and plum base was yumbo. The cheese was just right too. Would definitely recommend and have again!
