the portions at this place are huge, so foreseeable. I ordered the combination plate Christmas style that came with a brisket taco, rolled cheese enchilada , a red chile boar tamale that was generous and a chili relleno. it has also come with 2 pages. I couldn't finish it. I had to take half of it home. they also serve them chips and two types of salsas when they run in the door. really great atmosphere and service. we were there on Friday and they had live entertainment on the terrace. will definitely go again, but could share a escape next time.
I’m literally still here inside as I write this review. Absolutely amazing! We started off with the chips and salsa (red and verde) and it was incredible. Next I got the shredded pork burrito (carne adovada) and it’s something I’ll never forget. The food was perfect balance of spicy, full of flavor, and incredibly tasty. So glad this was my first experience of some NM cuisine! The staff was friendly as well and on top of it. 10/10 recommend. Please go check this place out!
I had lunch with my man and my children on the late Sunday. the services were wonderful! our babies are 8 months old and our son is 4 and our server was so beautiful and accommodating. never thought that an outing with these could be such a success. I'm sorry about the baby-munchie fair. good was also delicious, tasteful and not to season. and tacos was so good that my 4 year old had to order another. the server was on top of it too!
the food is decent and the service was friendly, but somewhat over price and under season. I just think if you want to charge me for $13 for guac, I could at least fill the container. look at the salsa that is almost empty and everyone who eats sopapillas and honey knows that for 2 sopapillas you can't have a honey pack!

decided to stop here for dinner after reading the reviews, but we were disappointed. the fries felt that they were frozen and simply reheated, do not definitiw fresh. carne adobada was also kind of cold. my son burger was good and the cucumber margaritas were great, customer service was also great.
Excellent meal, excellent service. My boy and I picked the right place to meet! I went there today. The flavor was off. Kind of a lame meal. Maybe the Montgomery location is failing? 3 stars for all this trip. Lunch for 3 of us was $66.00!!!! How can iced tea be 4 bucks? Iced tea?
I double tipped. I didn't realize they add on the tip on for parties of five or more... They should have explained that.
I love this place. When I'm in Albuquerque, I will eat here at least once. I love the Carne Adovada!

Food was not as good as the other one on 12th st. Brisket was tough and hard to chew.
The food is always good but the service is hit or miss. This time it was a miss.
