We really enjoyed our breakfast at this friendly cafe in the appealing group of shops at Gatley. The first thing that attracted our attention was the little outdoor tables at the front opposite Gatley Green. Ideal during COVID when we weren’t wanting to eat indoors. The second thing was the coffee I was able to get a decent long black (so many places in this part of the world don’t offer it, and the few that do often serve up an americano not a long black). The menu immediately reflects some character, with a little more than the standard cooked English breakfast options, many of which have interesting names like Lockdown for the big breakfast and Taste the Freedom for the vegetarian option....
Visited for breakfast it was nice a quiet and nice menu choices, staff friendly. Ordered full English and egg bacon on a brioche.... The standard of bacon sausage was really good but it was let down (in my opinion) with cheap tasting beans and red/brown sauce. Pot of tea was lovely but the mug absolutely useless, the handle was too small to be held. Would return and try something else from the menu, I would of marked higher if not for the cheaper alternatives.
If you need a decent coffee hit in a family run and friendly establishment then go no further, it’s the only place to visit. It’s pricing isn’t above the norm for similar establishments, you get what you pay for and everyone needs to make a living. Last visited during Covid lockdown, hence take away only but still going strong and long May it continue.
I visit Coffee Fix regularly when I am in Stockport with family and have always enjoyed a coffee, sometimes porridge and toast but this visit I was disappointed with the presentation of just simple porridge with berries and the lack of a warm welcome by the staff..or “thank you” when we were leaving. I was disappointed to say the least.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The iced vanilla latte was delicious and the coffee art was impressive. The Ultimate burger was exceptional and I believe it's the best burger in Manchester. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it a great place to visit with your dog.
I absolutely adore this place and make a point to visit as frequently as possible. It's more of a local coffee shop rather than a Costa or Starbucks. The staff is friendly, the coffee is fantastic, and the peanut butter dark chocolate cookies are out of this world!
Excellent! I’ve become a regular here. Just had the veggie fix breakfast. Divine. Couldn’t fault it. Dog friendly which helps! As time people say, the menu is limited but that doesn’t put me off. Better to do a few things very well. Will be back soon.
The food was fantastic and the service was friendly. I had the 3 pigs brioche with a cup of Earl Grey tea, and it was delicious! Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

VERY popular with the locals and you can see why. Lovely staff, great coffee and great food. It gets very busy around lunchtime. Seating outside and in. Great little place.
Tasty, hot and well filled brioche breakfast rolls. Veggie for me and meaty for my partner. Would definitely recommend!
