We visited here for breakfast on my husband 's birthday. Overall it was nice food but ultimately overpriced and small portions with OTT service in the wrong ways We were seated in quite an awkwardly placed table for a family with 2 infants in highchairs, right in a central area where i felt like I was constantly getting squished against and plates and hot drinks too close to my children upon serving to other tables. There was a table next to us at the window which would have been better placed so the kids were out the way. Sercice was odd, all really friend, some server 's a bit more amateurish than others. We were asked 3 or 4 times if our drink order had been taken and again about specials...

Have eaten here a good few times over the years and always impressed, but not so much on this occasion. Their Italian sausage penne is fine, nice kick to it but that seafood macaroni is absolutely disgusting. I would be astonished if that wasn’t canned lobster, which ruined the dish. It smelled off. If you’re going to serve canned fish, just take the item off the menu. Getting fish from half way around the world is not good practice. It had a stringy texture. Even minus the seafood, it wasn’t good macaroni cheese. Our guests enjoyed their carbonara, but it’s such an easy dish to make. The wings were fine as well. It’s a shame about the seafood dish as that used to be the best thing coias mad...

Really disappointing experience here. We haven’t been in a few years but previously always loved it. But we booked a table, eventually got seated 40 mins later. Our waiter was good(ish) and our starter served quickly but took another 40 mins for our main courses to then come out. And the food just wasn’t good. But despite the delays it all felt rushed and they asked us how our meal was despite one of us not having theirs yet. It was meant to be a nice family meal but we wish we’d stayed home. It’s great to see a place so busy but they need to be able to cope better with the customers they have as it wasn’t a pleasant dining experience in any way

My friend and I both ordered stornoway black pudding and poached egg but the crostino was rock hard. I just managed to cut through mine and it literally pinged across my plate, but my friend's was even tougher. After asking how our food was, a waiter took our plates away but they were duly brought back to us by a manager who informed us that the food was cooked to standard. No cognisance whatsoever of our comments. Disappointing food and attitude. My first and last visit. Book a table now

The food at this restaurant is excellent, the staff is friendly, the service is fast, the food is hot, and the atmosphere is lively. It's hard to find a better place to eat. The restaurant has been around since 1928 and is still going strong almost 100 years later for good reason. This is a true Italian restaurant with some of the best pizza I've ever had.

I recently went to Coia's for the second time and the food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the focaccia with Parma ham and mozzarella, which was a huge portion that could have easily served two. As I write this review, I am tempted to go back and eat it again right now. Don't hesitate, just go to Coia's Cafe - you won't be disappointed.

Wednesday Pre Celtic v Feyenoord had the TAGLIATELLE GAMBERONI E CAPESANTE. Garlic, chilli, king prawns, scallops, cherry tomatoes, white wine, butter rocket. Amazing. Quick service, piping hot, if you like seafood it is outstanding. Alfredo Staff are stars

This charming restaurant offers incredibly tasty Italian traditional dishes. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and has become a go-to spot for family meals. I also enjoy grabbing some delicious ice cream to-go in the summer! Book a table now

Lovely food, however staff rude and unfriendly. Politely asked if we could move to a table not in middle of restaurant and away from front door. However waiter advised he would check and never got back to us. Disappointing.
