My wife and I came to Zurich from Lucerne on Friday and we had lunch at Caffe Collana. Never in my life have I seen a woman serving almost 60+ people on such a large terrace, she gently walked to the table, ordered the meals, booked the customers and cleaned the tables. The best thing she looked for was customers waiting at the door and when there was a free table she told them next please. She paid attention to every detail, it was incredible how she moved from one place to another. She went in and in seconds she came out with the drink already on the tray. Me and my wife laughed so much like a little woman and with that curly hair she was so quick and attentive. Prices a bit expensive but...
A truly delightful and welcoming café, it stands out as one of my favorite spots in Zurich, especially during the winter, for soaking up Vitamin D. The staff, reflecting the diversity of the vibrant city of Zurich, is exceptionally friendly and efficient. The cakes and pastries are incredibly delicious, and they even offer champagne! On sunny days, especially Saturdays, I love to be here, enjoying delightful treats while reading the newspaper.
This location is perfect for a nice coffee break after a walk, is right in the front of the Opernhaus and easily accessible by all means of transportation. I ordered a pastry and a double espresso. Everything was to my taste. The place is modern, well-kept and clean. As you would expect in Switzerland, it is on the pricier side.
The ideal meeting point in the middle of the city. The tartare is excellent and the other dishes on offer are also very good. The service is very friendly and attentive.
