The Lawn was my local for a number of years up to 2006. It has always been a warm and ambient inner city pub and it was lovely to revisit a place I have so many fond memories of. Yes, the faces have changed over the years but the food and friendly smile that always seems to paint the inner sanctuary of this great establishment remains and I was very happy to once again drink in the atmosphere. When the owner Rick in the early 2000 's moved on to establish his mark on a new hotel in Collingwood, I wrote a poem for him called 'The PUB with NO Rick ' and The LAWN was kind enough to display the poem over the bar in the Lounge for a time until I moved north in 2006. The pub food at this restaurant is excellent. The veal schnitzel is tender, the salmon is perfectly cooked, and the beer batter flathead and chips are delicious. The service is fantastic - we were attended to promptly after ordering on a busy Friday night. The waitresses were attentive and made sure everything was okay with our meals. I highly recommend this place.
We recently had a large group dine here (30 people) and it was fantastic. The staff were lovely and super helpful in both organising the night and catering for a range of dietary requirements. We all had a great night and I would definitely recommend!

This pub is a great spot to catch a football game. They have a good variety of beers and delicious bar food. It's always filled with regulars, which is a good sign of its quality.
The best Tuesday night steak night in town. I've been doing steak night for over 8 years now and still loving it. Sunday avo drinks in the sun are also hard to beat at the lawn.
Our fav casual local pub. Food is consistently good staff are great. Great beer garden, although I'm too old to go there on a Sunday Had my 40th there and it was a great venue.
