I placed an order for a pie that was a little on the well-done side. I don't like doughy pizza, so I always order it a little well done. Never have I ever gotten a pie like I did tonight. What I got was a burnt, overly done, dried out, disgusting pizza. I took one bite and threw the whole pie in the garbage. It didn't even taste like pizza. All you could taste was burnt. If you've ever eaten a piece of burnt food, you know the burnt taste I'm talking about. #inedible #worstpizzaever #nevereatingthereagain
Service was quick and efficient. We called them a half hour before they were going to close, and they did 2 large pies for us for a pick-up order. I'm a NYC pizza guy, and this might be the best pizza on LI. It will give any NYC pizza a run for its money. I was in the area because my sister in law lives down the block. We will be back every time the family gets together in Port Jeff. We will try some of their dinners next time, but the pizza gets 4 stars, for sure. Thank you Colosseo!
Order the sicilian pie, well done. Legendary. Eating at the location is a bit of a tradition when Dad has to occasionally make dinner on the busy weekend for the kids and Mom is out with her friends or on an errand. The service people are kind. It's a great spot to bring the kids. They have a blast everytime we go.
Recommended by a friend from Port Jeff while we were vacationing about an hour away. Worth the drive for the adventure. Neapolitan and Sicilian were both fresh and yummy. Crust was great on the Neapolitan. Great recommendation. Book a table now
