Not that impressed. The restaurant was so loud I had to strain to hear what my friends were saying. The gnocchi sounded good on the menu but the reality had me reaching for the salt and pepper to add flavour. Lastly, I believe the chef was having issues but service was painfully slow. 1h15 from time of order to appetisers arriving. Suggestion: when service is slow acknowledge it to the clients and perhaps offer them bread to snack on, a free drink or something to keep them happily distracted. On the positive size main course and desert portion sizes were decent and the American waitress was charming and trying her best.
Very good roast we had on Sunday. The portion was big, very tasty and reasonable price! The service is friendly and attentive, but it was quite busy and went a bit slow when we were going to get the bill. Will definitely visit again for Sunday roast!
Beautiful local pub with exquisite food and a warm welcoming festive vibe for a great Sunday roast experience. It’s a little gem for old school pub perfect for the younger generations and families as well
We arrived as a party of 8 without booking on a World Cup evening. We were welcomed and a table found for us. Everyone was impressed with the standard of the food and service. Highly recommended
