I've lived in West Roxbury for about 6 months and have ordered from comella's about 10-15 times (because I like their boneless buffalo chicken) but everything else was hit or miss, mostly miss because of the inconsistency of the food and at least onething being wrong everytime. I go to order the boneless buffalo chicken today to see that the prices were raised, so now for13.99 (instead of 9.99 which is what it was a week or two ago) you can get 5 pieces of chicken that may or may not have celerywith it... so I'm done with comella's and I'm gunna find a new and more consistent place. Any recommendations???

Delicious food and friendly staff in a charming little restaurant. I tried one of the Mess Plates with chicken and meatballs, which featured a delightful cheesy topping, a tangy sauce, and crispy breaded chicken along with tender, flavorful meatballs. This unexpected pasta dish was a pleasant surprise! The Tiramisu and Cannoli were both incredible as well. I highly recommend this place!
Comella's Restaurant in West Roxbury is so good. The food is very good and a really great Italian restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food that is served. I definitely recommend Comella's. I know that they have lots of locations and I'm sure that they are all good but as for The West Roxbury location. The food was delicious and bountiful. Place your order, pay and take a seat. The food and utensils were brought to the table and we were instantly impressed by the smell and sight of our food. Only wish I thought to order some garlic bread to mop up the wonderful Italian marinara sauce!!!!
Omg there caprese salad with calamari is super incredible. Not only does it taste amazing but it?s better then a regular caprese salad. The staff is super friendly and kind . I love that the food not only tastes good but it tastes fresh and not good thathas been out for weeks
Ham an pineapple pizza.. cheese congealed. Said 2o minutes got the in 25.. ice cold. But..it's not just pizza joint.. has great menu..just a bad choice by ..my wife.. Update 4/22: paid for this quip about wifey.. ????????

Always good food huge portions! Got a bucket of spaghetti (6-8 servings per menu), 12 meatballs, 2 loaves of garlic bread fed 14 people including 6 adults, 2 teens 4 younger kids. With a little bread meatballs left over!
I used to love Comella's for their cheap cheese pizzas. However, I ordered a calzone the other day and received an undercooked mess of dough and raw veggies. Waste of money...
