Just to frame it in your mind, we have discussed if this restaurant gives a 1/5. The only reason we stopped was that the friends we were with had better meals and the service staff did their best. But what's so bad about it? Well, it's one of the only times in our lives that we have ordered something from the menu and because of a mistranslation we have something completely different from what we have ordered. And to make it even worse, they have different menus in German and English/French. So it was quite unpleasant that our waitress, when we were selected from the English menu, asked the food names in German... which we obviously did not have and could not know exactly. We had the buffet dinner here one night (made reservation, it's necessary). Nice atmosphere. We liked the selection of appetizers, quality was good. The main/side courses were decent although nothing stood out. The meat sticks which were brought to the table were very good, we had the roast beef and chicken. Our experience with the desserts was mixed: some were decent, some were like rubbery pudding. Service: our server was friendly and did well generally but was sometimes hard to find. At 33,50 Euro per adult excluding drinks e.g. 6,50 Euro for a bottle of water it's more than I would like to pay for this quality overall (but we've been spoiled by better buffets elsewhere for similar prices...
We went to this restaurant because we really love the Rodizio concept. But in this restaurant for more than one hour we were offered Skewers only twice, some sausage and chicken, a bite size cut per person. London's Rodizios are much better for money. The buffet was good for hotel use.
We had everything, the appetizer buffet, the meat on spits, the ducks and the desserts and I can no longer recommend it. High quality, good service and the best of all, the Bacon was wounded data on a spear, and the server that would give us as many as we wanted!
