Our friends recommended this cozy bar located across from the Glen Ellyn train station for a pre-event gathering. We arrived just before opening and there was already a small line forming. Within 15 minutes, the bar was nearly full. The owner, Chad, greeted us and presented their extensive drink menu. Instead of simply handing us the menus, he took the time to explain their philosophy on cocktails and walked us through the menu. I have been a loyal patron of this restaurant since 2020, and it never fails to impress! Even after visiting the top craft cocktail bars in the city, I have not found a place quite like this. They serve delicious craft cocktails made from scratch, paired with warm and welcoming service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to make great recommendations. The menu is consistently unique and offers something for everyone. During the summer, you can enjoy the charming patio garden, and in the colder months, the inside is cozy and inviting. Be sure to show your appreciation by tipping generously, as the hardworking staff prepares every drink from scratch.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is located in a charming little building on the outskirts of downtown Glen Ellyn. I do not recommend ordering the Chai Tai, as the server accidentally poured flaming rum on my hand when lighting it inside a charred lime-half balanced on the glass rim. Despite the mishap, the server did give me ice to help with the burn, for which I am grateful. Despite this incident, my wife insisted on tipping 20% as a gesture of kindness towards the staff.
My husband and I stopped by Common Good for a drink before our date night. We sat in the parking lot next to the building. The service was fast and efficient, and I asked our server for a drink recommendation based on my preferences. She suggested the Chaperones Day Off for me and the Allertons Ailment for my husband. I really enjoyed my drink, as it was light and refreshing. It would be great if they had more snack options available.

I have been familiar with this restaurant for a while and finally had the chance to try it out. Morgan waited on my friend and me and took excellent care of us. The restaurant offers a wide variety of high-end alcoholic beverages.
The cocktails are fantastic and the service is top-notch. This is the perfect spot to hang out with friends. Expect to spend between $20 and $30 per person. Service and atmosphere both receive a 5-star rating.
The staff at this restaurant is fantastic and the drinks are amazing. Definitely worth trying something new, especially their great selection of bourbon. I recommend trying a Japanese highball.
